In 1954, we manufactured our first forklift under the Abeko brand. Much remains the same, even though the company has changed its name to Actil Warehouse Trucks and, since 2022, has been part of the KION Group. We develop, produce, and sell electric indoor trucks, stand-on stackers, sit-on stackers, low lifters, order pickers, and pedestrian stackers. Special trucks account for approximately 25% of our production, and through close collaboration between sales, engineering, and production, nothing is impossible.

Location
In this role, you will be part of our engineering team, responsible for finding the best solutions for our customers. You report to the Head of Engineering and are based at our facility in Vreta Kloster.
Main responsibilities
The responsibilities include the development of electrical systems for battery-powered industrial trucks, as well as maintenance and troubleshooting of hardware and software.
In practice, this includes creating schematic diagrams, cable harness drawings, and selecting components. Software development is carried out in the programming language VCL (Vehicle Control Language), and in addition to troubleshooting both old and new systems, the role also involves implementing new and custom functions.
The system includes various types of analog and digital components, CAN communication, and control of the drive motor, pump motor, and valves in the hydraulic system. In addition to the main responsibilities, the role also involves providing both internal and external support, both on-site and remotely.
Qualifications and personal qualities
We are looking for someone with both practical experience and theoretical knowledge. Ideally, you have a university or college education, or have acquired equivalent skills through work experience. A background in manufacturing or mechanical engineering industries is highly valued. You are fluent in both Swedish and English, spoken and written.
As a person, you take great responsibility for your tasks and thrive with a high degree of freedom. In this role, you will solve challenges in close collaboration with both internal and external resources, which requires strong teamwork skills and a humble attitude. You enjoy working in a team and cooperating with others to find the best solutions. Furthermore, you are driven and capable of making independent decisions within established frameworks.

We are looking for a fork lift engineer
We are looking for someone who has previous experience in industrial assembly or service work, e.g. in vehicles or facilities.

Your duties
In the role of engineer, your main tasks will be the assembly of trucks, either final assembly or partial assembly. The role means that you will work with aspects such as mechanics, hydraulics and connecting electrical systems.
Over time, you grow into the role of engineer and become an important cog in our production. We are a small company so with us you will never be anonymous, but appreciated and seen!
Requirements
• Can screw, e.g. with a car, moped, boat, bicycle or similar
• Knowledge of industrial work
• Fluent in spoken and written Swedish
